OBS was founded by the International Olympic Committee in 2001 and served as the main broadcaster in the Olympic Games, Winter Olympics and youth Olympic Games. Romero led OBS’s work until 2012. Romero was born in Spain. He worked in a Spanish TV station in the early days. His first participation in the Olympic report was in the Mexico City Olympics in 1968.
