Over the past year, the General Administration of Sports and the Chinese Football Association have selected 16 key cities for football development. Du Zhaocai emphasized that youth football is the cornerstone of the development and revitalization of Chinese football, and it is also a basic and strategic project to build a strong sports country. We should take youth training as the most important and basic work, make careful efforts, coordinate domestic and international resources, build domestic and international youth training centers, and deepen the integration of sports and education, establish and improve the “four-in-one” youth training system on campus, major, occupation and society, popularize it on the basis of campus football, and construct “District (county), city, province, region, the National” five-level elite talent training network has achieved the popularization of youth football and the promotion of mutual promotion. It has continued to work hard for a long time and laid a solid foundation for the long-term development of Chinese football.
Du zhaicai said that by 2025, the Chinese Football Association plans to build a national youth training college, and jointly build five district-level high-level football reserve talent bases and 50 men and women pure youth training centers with provinces and cities. Recently, the Chinese Football Association is preparing to build China’s first National Youth Training College and negotiating with UEFA a package of youth football cooperation plans including the joint construction of China-EU international youth training center. Relying on resources such as football associations, sports schools and campus football characteristic schools, we will coordinate and accelerate the layout and construction of five-level youth training centers of “District (county), city, province, region and country. At least one municipal youth training center and six district-level youth training centers will be built in each key city. Each district-level youth training center matches the football characteristic schools with the age groups of primary school, junior high school and senior high school according to the basic ratio of 6:3:1, so as to smooth the football talent training channel with the integration of sports and education.
