Beijing, Beijing, April 10 (reporter Li He) the ceremony of entering China Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2022 was held in Tianjin on the afternoon of the 9th. At the ceremony, 15 “special tribute characters”, 9 recommended characters and “outstanding contribution award of new China basketball (five and ten Heroes)” were awarded members of China Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2022.
At the ceremony site, the Hall of Fame recommended members to the Hall: Hu Weidong, Liu Yudong, Wang Zhizhi (male athlete), Song Xiaobo, Cong Xueyu, Zheng Haixia (female athlete), Jiang Xingquan, xu Limin (coach), as well as outstanding collectives-the winners of “outstanding contribution award of new China basketball (” five and ten heroes “), Wu Yishui, Huang Fangjie, Guo Yonglin, Zhang Lijun, Kuang Lubin, wang Fei, Wang Fang, Li Xin and others were invited to attend. In addition, representatives of family members of several deceased Hall of Fame members were also invited to attend this entrance ceremony.
At the entrance ceremony, the celebrity badge symbolizing the highest honor of Chinese basketball was presented to each Hall of Fame member or family representative. Eight recommended members told basketball stories that had far-reaching influence on themselves and shared the mental history of love, struggle and inheritance.
Among the “special tribute characters”, the three old predecessors Zhang Changlu, Cheng Shichun and Yang Bochen who were alive were unable to come to the scene because of their high age. They sent a message for this entrance ceremony through VCR. 15 “special tribute figures” are: Zhang Boling, Shu Hong, Dong Shouyi, Song Junfu, Tang Baodi, Mou Zuoyun, Zhang Zipei, Zhang Changlu, Yu bangji, Yang lucky deer, Cheng Shichun, chen Wenbin, Bai Jinshen, Qian Chenghai, Yang Bozhen.
Zheng Haixia’s first pair of professional basketball shoes came from the guidance of the predecessor Mu Tiezhu; Wang Zhizhi and Yao passed through Zheng Haixia’s large size basketball shoes when they were young next year; Hu Weidong took the No. 8 jersey from coach Yi Dehua, 20 years later, the No. 8 jersey was passed to Yi Li, the son of Yi Dehua. The “hard practice” method guided by Jiang Xingquan was recorded in the training diaries of a group of disciples such as Liu Yudong and Hu Weidong……

At the end of the ceremony, “five and ten heroes” took over the heavy “outstanding collective” trophy from Yao Ming, chairman of the Chinese Basketball Association, on behalf of Wu Xiushui and Huang Weijie.
