The Paris Olympic Games set up three trials, based on the principle of points, the Olympic list is determined according to the comprehensive factors such as the physical condition of athletes.

The 2023 National Diving Championship, which will be opened in Shanghai on March 19, is listed as the first stop of the Paris Olympic Games, and is also the trials of this year’s Fukuoka World Championship and Asian Games. The 2023 National Diving Championships held in December are the second leg of the Olympic selection and the trials of the 2024 Doha World Championships; The Doha world championships held in February 2024 are the third leg of the Olympic selection.

According to the Olympic selection mechanism, take the best two-station competition ranking in the three-station trials to calculate the athlete points, and the two can compete in matches across provinces and cities.

At the end of February, the Chinese diving team conducted an in-team Test for three days, which was divided into two parts: diving and physical fitness test on land. For the national players, 2023 was extremely busy: in addition to participating in the Olympic trials, World Championships and Asian Games, they also had to participate in the three-stop World Cup.
