International referees Ma Ning, Fu Ming and international assistant referees Zhou Fei and Zhang Cheng were selected. According to the big list, Ma Ning is the referee, Zhou Fei and Zhang Cheng are selected as the assistant referee, and 3 people will form the referee Group. Fu Ming will be the Video Assistant Referee (VAR). Ma Ning had previously participated in the enforcement work of the 2022 Qatar World Cup, and Fu Ming served as VAR in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

The World Club Cup selected 6 referee groups (3-person teams) and 8 video assistant referees from 5 Intercontinental FIFA to enforce the law. The four FIFA referees selected are all from China.
2022 the World Club Cup of Morocco will be held on February 1-11, 2023. Last season, champions of the Champions League Real Madrid, Copa Libertadores champion flamenco and other intercontinental club championships will participate.
