In This World Cup, Ma Ning has served as the fourth official in six group matches. This is also the first time in 20 years that a Chinese referee has participated in the law enforcement work of the men’s football World Cup. Shi Xiang and Cao Yi served as alternate assistant referees for the three matches respectively.
