A few days ago, at Shanghai Chongming sports training base, the reporter saw that more than 1310 athletes were doing their best in winter training: in the gymnastics hall, handstand, balance, run-up, somersault and landing were moving in one go; In the Basketball Hall, the sound of basketball impact and shoes friction resounded all over the court; On the table tennis court, the players showed heroic bearing elegant demeanour in the swing room……

Practice hard, but don’t practice hard. It is understood that Shanghai competitive sports training Management Center and Shanghai Sports Institute have put forward four stages of strength and special training suggestions according to different recovery situations of athletes, and resume basic training of athletes step by step, further improve the systematic training requirements.

“After many players ‘yangkang’, we resumed training step by step by monitoring various physical indicators of athletes, and now we have basically returned to normal training.” Zhang Yang, head coach of Shanghai men’s sports team, said that with the return of the 2023 competition, athletes also actively participated in the state of preparation, and everyone could achieve the desired results by doing all the details well.

“If it is detected in the training that the heartbeat of the athlete suddenly accelerates and it is difficult to breathe, we will intervene immediately.” Huang Meng, the doctor of Shanghai table tennis team, introduced that the training base has formed a security team, including doctors, scientific researchers, physical trainers and other personnel. In daily training, the team will adjust the training content in time according to the state of each athlete.

Hockey requires long round-trip running and accelerated running, which requires high physical fitness. Yang Xiuhong, coach of Shanghai hockey team, said, “At present, our training is mainly based on physical recovery. Now the heart rate of the players has recovered to about 90% years ago, and the training effect is good.”
