Authorities from all walks of life such as politics, commerce, production, learning, research and media have jointly discussed the ways of CBA business operation, help CBA achieve high-quality development from multiple dimensions.
Yao Ming, chairman of China Basketball Association, said in his speech that the “14th Five-Year Plan” for Chinese basketball has been officially implemented, professional basketball represented by CBA League is the key development field of Chinese basketball during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. The CBA league will adhere to the road of professional league development with Chinese characteristics, adhere to the positioning of people’s basketball, and handle the relationship between social benefits and economic benefits.
As the organizer of this forum, Zhang Xiong, CEO of CBA company, said that in the face of rare historical opportunities, CBA league will study and formulate “two rounds, one axis, the development strategy of collaborative drive promotes the high-quality development of the league. In terms of business operations, the CBA league will further expand the scope of sponsor cooperation, from the traditional consumption field to emerging industries such as e-sports games, and plus-sized the development of non-season rights and interests of the CBA league. In addition, he said that when the conditions are ripe, the CBA league will consider expanding the competition scale of the league and further expanding the brand influence of the league.
As for the issue of “Army expansion” of CBA league, the participating experts also expressed their views in the round table forum.

Bao Mingxiao, executive director of China sports policy research institute of Beijing Sport University and director of China sports economy research center of sports science department of State Sports General Administration, believes that the expansion of troops is a medium-and long-term problem in the development of CBA league, but if you blindly expand the army, it may not be worth the loss, so you must grasp the good degree.
White House Ding, research director of Tsinghua University Sports Industry Development Research Center, suggested that some clubs that meet the standards can be invited to participate in the form of specially invited competitions, so as to measure whether the team can meet the entry standards of CBA, continue to discuss whether to leave or stay in the future.
Wang Yuxiong, director of sports Economy Research Center of Central University of Finance and Economics, said that the expansion problem should be decided by the market.
The participating guests also conducted in-depth discussions on hot topics such as how to promote the business development of CBA league, release the bonus of CBA reform, enhance the brand value of CBA league and expand the influence of CBA league, shared successful experiences in their respective fields.
