The notice said that in 2023, the Women’s Super League of China Football Association will be held in all relevant competitions in the country from March to December. Beijing women’s football team, Guangdong Women’s football team, Sichuan women’s football team, 12 participating units including Shaanxi Women’s football team will send 12 teams to participate in the competition.
The notification announced the competition criteria of the team: it has been registered in the member Association of China Football Association and China Football Association; In principle, the team must have a U-18 youth echelon or a U-16 youth echelon, and participated in the official competitions of the corresponding groups organized by the Chinese Football Association that year; Women’s Super League teams must sign up to participate in the Chinese Football Association National Women’s Football Championship and Women’s Football Association Cup in the current season, teams that have not signed up for the above events will be punished according to the circumstances until the Women’s Super League points are deducted.
In addition, this season, the Women’s Super League will be held in the main and away cycle. The 12th place will be directly downgraded, and the 11th place will be played in a single play with the 2nd place in the 2023 Women’s First League.
