BEIJING, Dec. 28 (Xinhua) A few days ago, the General Office of the General Administration of Sports issued the revised general rules for the competition of the 14th Winter Games of the People’s Republic of China. It is pointed out that the 14th Winter sports meeting was held in Inner Mongolia autonomous region in February 17-27, and the competitions include skating (speed skating, short track speed skating, figure skating), skiing (alpine skiing, freestyle skiing, snowboard skiing, ski jumping, cross-country skiing, Northern Europe), biathlon, cold water jug, ice hockey, snowmobile (snowmobile, steel frame snowmobile), sled, ski climbing.
In the qualification competition, athletes should obey the needs of the country and complete the training and competition tasks of major international competitions such as the Winter Olympics qualification competition and the world championship. Athletes who cannot participate in the 14th Winter qualifying competition due to the need to prepare for the war can directly participate in the finals after being approved by the State Sports General Administration. Inner Mongolia autonomous region can directly participate in the ice hockey final.
The qualification competition is conducted by means of points race and Daqi. Before the qualification competition, physical fitness, anti-doping knowledge and other tests will be conducted, and those who have reached the standard can participate in the competition. Speed skating, figure skating, freestyle skiing aerials, cross-country skiing and other projects set the minimum score or difficulty standard for entering the final. Only athletes who meet the standards and have obtained the final qualification can participate in the final competition.
The members of the delegation and the league department report 3 days before the opening of the sports meeting and leave the meeting 1 day after the closing. Each delegation has specified one to two liaison officers among the personnel of the youth league department, and their registration and departure time will be determined separately.
The sports teams of each project report 3 days before the start of the competition and leave the meeting 1 day after the competition. The sports teams of each project can conduct pre-competition site adaptability training 10 days before the start of the competition. The organizing committee shall open the competition and training venues in advance for the use of the sports teams according to regulations.
In addition, the program of mass events will be notified separately.
