Xinhua News Agency, Paris, November 28, the Paris Olympic organizing committee announced on the 28th that tickets for the first phase of the Paris Olympic Games will be officially opened on December 1. From that day on, audiences all over the world can register on the official ticket purchasing website of the Paris Olympic organizing committee to participate in the lottery. The successful bidder can buy tickets for the Olympic Games from Next Middle February to mid-March.
According to the plan of BOCOG Paris, Olympic ticket sales are divided into two stages, of which the first stage sells personalized ticket packages customized according to users’ needs, and the second stage sells single tickets. Each registered user can purchase up to 30 Olympic tickets in two stages.
For the first stage of ticket package sales, all viewers can register on the official ticketing website to participate in the lottery from December 1, 2022to January 31, 2023. the order of registration will not affect the probability of winning the ticket. The successful bidder will receive a 48-hour ticket purchase window from February 13 next year to March 15. Each user can purchase up to 3 tickets for each project (except for surfing projects held in Tahiti), and select up to 6 tickets for each project.
The single ticket sales in the second stage also adopt the form of lottery, and the lottery will be opened from March to May 2023.
After these two rounds of sales, the Paris Olympic Games will sell about 10 million tickets, of which about half of the price is within 50 euros (about 380 yuan), the minimum ticket price is 24 euros (about 180 yuan), and there are about 1 million tickets.
Tickets for the Paris Paralympic Games will be available in 2023 and more than 3 million tickets are expected to be sold.
