This rule update will increase the points from the first round of WTT Grand Slam qualifier to the top 64 players in the final round, which is beneficial to the players who advance to the final round. Considering the rising difficulty of low-level players, this rule update also includes reducing the points of WTT regional events from 150 points to 125 points. The final, the points of the semi-finals and the quarter-finals will also be reduced.
