Tokyo Olympic malfeasance case public trial: 3 people admitted to bribe the former director of the Olympic organizing committee

BEIJING, Dec. 23 (Xinhua) — According to the Kyodo News Agency of Japan, around the cases of malfeasance related to the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games, three men’s clothing giant AOKI, the former chairman of the holding of AOKI, and so on, were accused of bribery because of the selection of sponsors entrusted by Gao Qiao Zhi, the former director of the Olympic organizing committee, and providing a total of 28 million yen, on the 22nd, he admitted the content of the prosecution in the first public trial of the Tokyo District Court.

The special search department of Tokyo local procurator’s office sued 15 people in five channels, which was the initial trial in a series of cases.

The special search department believes that the funds provided by AOKI Holdings under the consultation contract signed with “COMMONS” operated by Takahashi in September 2017 are bribery.
